Notes de dégustation 

Sweet ripe cassis is backed by some racy herbal red fruits. The palate is enriched by the ripeness of the fruit lots of blackcurrant, black cherry and chocolate. Towards the back it is fresher with more of a red fruit and herbal character (DS)

This is beautifully textured, with a slight vanilla tinge on the edges, ripe tannins and impeccable balance. Elegant in the mid-palate, it never seems wimpy, as opposed to properly focused and precise. Its flavor profile is a little off, with some nail polish and rhubarb nuances, though, and it is not particularly complex. It is a well focused wine with fine structure and some grip and intensity on the finish, too. But for the flavor profile, I would’ve gone a little higher in score for this, so your mileage may differ (RP)
